If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Accessibility

Patients with a disability are advised to telephone the practice on 01257 513970 on arrival outside of the building if they require any assistance in accessing the building or its services.

Access into The Chorley Surgery has dropped curbs for easier access and we also have a small ramp at the entrance to the surgery. Disabled access doors are in use on arrival and once in the surgery to access the waiting room, these are worked by a push pad mechanism.

We have disabled toilets to the right of the waiting room.

Our waiting room has two high backed winged chairs to assist with standing or sitting.

An induction loop is available; please inform reception if you wish to use this facility.

With sufficient notice we can offer information in different formats for example, large print, braille, easy read or via email.

Please inform us of any information, access or communication needs at your earlier convenience then we are able to get this in place for you.

Parking

We have 28 general parking spaces in the surgery car park located at the back of the building and disabled parking is also available in designated areas at the front of the surgery on Gillibrand Street, however the there is a 1 hour maximum stay on the car park.

There a number of Chorley Council run car parks within close distance of the surgery.
